Hello.
Welcome to my personal homepage. I am Dr Aiken Dao.
Here, you will find an overview of my professional journey — spanning clinical research, translational science, and academic collaborations. My research focuses on improving patient outcomes and advancing approaches to surgical and infection management, fostering integration between clinical and research disciplines.
My work bridges clinical insight with laboratory discovery to close the gap between bench and bedside. I am particularly interested in the mechanisms of tissue regeneration, infection control, and surgical recovery, as well as how these principles can be translated into safer, more effective treatments.
Over the years, I have contributed to national and international research initiatives, working with multidisciplinary teams to develop novel approaches in infection prevention, wound healing, and translational medicine.
My experience spans both clinical and translational domains, with particular interests in:
Orthopaedic infections and surgical-related complications
Bone and fracture healing biology
Spinal injury and paralysis management
Peripheral nerve repair and functional recovery
Wound healing and regenerative medicine
Infectious diseases and clinical microbiology
Global health and communicable disease control
I invite you to explore the pages ahead to learn more about my current research, collaborations, and academic contributions. Whether you are a clinician, researcher, or student, I hope that the work presented here offers useful insights and encourages continued dialogue across the wider scientific and medical community.
